Echo quiche - can also make a Spanish tortilla and serve hot or cold. (nice to top with roasted peppers or ham also), or breakfast soufflés
As much as I like making my own bread, in this context I’d pick up good croissants and baguette if you have a good bakery nearby - serve with some soft cheese, jam, Nutella, and charcuterie depending on your audience.
It’s also quite nice and straight forward to roast a bunch of breakfast sausage, potatoes, and say, asparagus.
Add some bellinis or mimosas and you’re in business!
Obsessed with the NYT cooking recipe for “creme brûlée french toast” - it’s DELICIOUS and it’s cooked in the oven so way less work / cleanup than usual French toast. Have had people tell me it’s the best French toast they’ve ever had
I also like this brioche French toast in the oven for the same reason! So delicious but easyyyy. Made it for my in laws last weekend and it was a huge hit 👌
