Looking into getting a puppy since I will be working from home for the foreseeable future... Any general advice for a first time dog owner (old roommate had a 2 year old dog so I have that as some experience)?

How many pet parents out leave music or tv on, a treat in the dogs bowl fresh food and water and lol, a heating pad wrapped in a blanket for their dogs? Mine has separation anxiety but I found this works!

How many training sessions a day do you do? Between feeding 3x a day, multiple walks and constant supervision I feel like I’m failure my puppy if I don’t make it through the days relaxation protocol and work on walking and work on recall and work on not jumping on new people etc
