Conduent HR is ghosting even after sending a salary break up. When I finally got hold of her she told me to send the counter offer through mail. She is not responding to my mails when I'm nearing lwd, very unprofessional behaviour from Conduent. Look for a startup to gain more experience in a different field. You are probably right about recruiters throwing you applications but that might be because you don't have any experience in the field. Try a more aggressive approach.
So, given, I'm not on the recruiter side of things. But I do feel like competition for jobs is getting tighter, at least in analytics. So, I imagine that recruiters, or even just HR systems, are pretty quickly weeding out people without a heavy tech background. And big tech is just competitive no matter what. I think your best bet is probably doing a ton of networking and trying to get a personal connection somewhere so you can at least get through to an interview stage.
I've seen it happen loads - if you have relevant biotech experience, I'd recommend looking into health tech as a bit of a middle ground. They need your background but can put you in the bizops type roles and then you cna start jumping to other tech companies
