Having spent 30 years recruiting globally for VC backed tech startups and global multinationals, I am interested to share my thoughts and experience with the next generation of recruiters in the hope that it goes some way towards accelerating your careers. I'd like to start by talking a little bit about what I believe the mindset of a successful recruiter should look like.

A summer associate has a side hustle business. It’s ok until they are barred right?

We’re having an Indian wedding on a Sunday with ceremony in the morning, followed by lunch, and then cocktail hour + reception.

Given that the wedding starts early, we will have guests (~30) flying in the day before. What is the expectation in terms of arranging dinner for them? We’re trying to avoid having an additional event Saturday night - any idea on if these guests would need to have food arranged for them by us and what that could look like on a cost effective budget.

I haven't received offer letter even after waiting for more than 16 days, i have given more than 10 interviews till now and have 4 offers but this one is taking a lot time giving a high rise to my expectations but am losing hope from this..can anyone suggest how much time usually it takes to roll out letter...please.

I am a technical recruiter with three years of experience. I am currently interviewing at a series B tech start up located in CA for a fully remote position. I am currently in Texas and don’t have to pay state income taxes. I am making about 90 K and would love to bump up my salary from there. My question is, what is a fair salary to ask for that will factor in both the new income tax and a raise? My other question is what is a fair salary in general for somebody with three years experience?

Hello! I’m a Talent Acquisition Manager at a 300 FTE sized gov contractor with 2 recruiters under me. One of my recruiters and I are both having babies in August and will be out for 12 weeks.
