I got hired as a freelancer on a project. 2 days in and we’re off to a slow start getting access to what I need. It’s paid hourly. I blocked out time to work a full day knowing I’d dive right in but that’s not how it turned out. My question is do I bill the full day even though I only put in a few hours of kick off calls and contacting folks to get access to the things I need? It’s not my fault they were disorganized. What would you do?
When was the moment that it really dawned on you that you are a full fledged attorney? Mine was when I was a first year and did a pro bono DV case and won custody, alimony, and child support for mom.
