Just stick with it! There is no magical anything, then one day it all just clicks!!!
I found bribery works. Every time they use the potty they get an M&M or whatever it is that motivates them. Good luck!
Just underwear (the thick kind on amazon with extra padding made for less puddles). And just keep asking them often if they have to pee. Let them have accidents and have them help you clean it up (like pretend). But when they make in the potty, make a chart and put a sticker on each time. When they go like 4-5 times, give a great reward. And just don’t quit. Stay home for 3-4 days and it’ll happen. If you can stomach night training at the same time, it’s ideal but not a must have. Try to encourage poop too. My son got pee right but then held on poop and had issues. And he also got day right but then was extremely delayed in night. So I wish I had thought of pee and poo and night and day together vs having those phased out so long.
We gave my daughter a balloon every time she used the toilet. She got to pick the color and then we taped them up on the wall. When she earned a certain number we threw her a Potty Party with cupcakes and candles etc.
Good luck!
