I get the whole “it still takes humans to prompt and polish it” angle. I tweak stuff with AI all the time, so the workflow part does make sense to me. What throws me off is the principle of it. Reusing an AI generated spot for a second year hits different. It feels less like experimenting with a new tool and more like letting the tech replace the parts of the craft that actually evolve year to year.

Actually it was Coke for the second year. This was McD’s first and they took it down.
These large companies that are “too big to fail” will continue to use AI. I don’t doubt there are still humans running the show, just in different circumstances. It is absolutely changing the way we work.

Do creatives adapt? This spot didn’t do so well. It felt like a mash up random scenes.
Lol "weeks to write the prompts" is so funny. That's not creative work. That's creative direction maybe but they're still outsourcing the labor to AI instead of employing people to make the creative work.
