Question about pre-marking trial exhibits in federal court ((more below))

Cover sheet. I'd also put it in a binder with numbered tabs.

Thanks! I just didn’t know if a blank cover sheet (blank except for the exhibit sticker) would be weird or not

We need to pre-mark our trial exhibits using a special label from the court. It’s a pretty large label (listing case name, case number, etc). The pretrial order seem to say you can affix it (like a sticker) or staple it.

Because the exhibit sticker/label size is relatively large it will certainly cover impt parts of the exhibit.

We must file these pre-marked exhibits and print a copy for the clerk. *Would you (1) put the exhibit sticker on a blank page before the exhibit or (2) file/send to the court with part of the exhibit being covered?

While joining, the company says.. Congratulations, here is your offer letter. Kindly confirm your acceptance over email. As the last step you have to sign the OL "on the date of your joining."

Ques: Is signing OL on the date of joining a normal thing to do? On what basis should I be confident to tell my current org that I am leaving. What if they revoke?

I’m in my 4th year at a small plaintiffs’ firm. Past two years I’ve received meager raises (5k) and terrible bonuses (3k). My boss prides himself on allowing me to gain experience so I have more courtroom experience than most attorneys with twice the experience. As I’ve applied for other firms, I’ve been denied interviews based on how my boss is perceived in the community. I’ve gathered professional references from opposing attorneys and other attorneys we work with but still can’t land. Help

I have a promising interview at a relatively large law firm in my area (+100 attorneys) next week. The position is for a transactional role in their real estate practice group, and they are seeking someone with at least 2 YOE. I have a bit over 7 YOE with a strong real estate/commercial lit. background. Over the past two years in my current position, I've been doing a lot more transactional work. The split is around 50% transactional and 50% lit.

How do firms calculate how much parental leave to provide, either paid or unpaid. Or do they just pick a number, like “yeah they can get to know their kid in a few weeks and I couldn’t possibly have that attorney out for 12 weeks?” I’m at a small firm, no FMLA or state requirement. We get four weeks paid and four weeks unpaid. Would like to push for more but not sure how to argue costs side of it.
