I like that they paid people to make a 5 minute film and it wasn’t AI like Coke is doing.
I think it’s funny how US ads are slowly but surely gravitating towards Bollywood.

Especially when it’s just kind of like every other first level Apple “film” they’ve thrown money at an A list director to make.
Since every phone is the same, every ad is the same. Apart from that kid of a bike, I liked that one.
Kind of relieved that I wasn’t the only one who felt this way. It just wasn’t interesting enough to watch the whole thing. I actually watched more than I would’ve if it wasn’t spike, Pedro Apple
I wish it was more than just Pedro Pascal. I loved the trampoline AirPod spot, why not iterate another version of that?

It was cute, it was nice. It was apple. Would not watch again.
To me, this is no better than all those lazy commercials where someone takes a sip of (insert soda here) or a bite of (insert food/candy/snack here) and they love it so much they start dancing, wheeeeeeee!!! But we are all supposed to think it’s cool because it’s Apple and there’s a celebrity in it and they had money for high production value.
But I would be humblebragging about it on LinkedIn every 13 seconds if I had made it. 🤣
