Any Analysis Group fish willing to share your experience the company? I am a current business school student exploring opportunities with the firm post-biz school Analysis Group. Are the cases at the interview similar to that of other firms/casebook? I understand on the high level what’s the difference between AG’s project versus traditional strategy shops but wonder if you can elaborate on this.
soo my sleep schedule is effed up, i keep trying to wake up early-ish (7am) but i’m lacking motivation and i wake up tired 😴

Ability to build a network and relationships you can bring to bear is an essential ability in consulting. If you can’t do that, where is your merit? Analytical ability and communication skills are table stakes.

Btw, saying we don't live in a meritocracy because it's "all about who you know" is foolish. There are different hierarchies of competence, needing to have people skills is one of those hierarchies. You just reject the idea it is because you probably rank lowly in it.
Forming a good connection with those in your own practice / firm shows you can do the same with clients, which is one of the most important skills you can have in consulting

A1 OP has demonstrated he doesn't understand the importance of being able to build relationships. People with his mentality tend to be poor in the people skills hierarchy because they don't give their best effort at being better at it because they don't think it's important. My brother is the same way.
