Only you can say if it's worth it, but I would caution that, depending on the firm, the expectations for BL are likely to be much more than "just" an extra 100 hours. BL generally has much less flexibility and a much greater expectation to be available 24/7 than most MidLaw firms, in my experience. You are right that the money can be significantly better, but, again, depending on the firm, the WLB can be much worse. Essentially, you make much more money and have a "prestige bonus", but can lose a lot of flexibility and balance as well. For some folks, it's worth it, for some it's not.
This is an excellent point. I left big law for one of the L&E boutiques because the on demand nature was a huge drag and I don’t mind taking a pay cut for control over my life
Also, very few BL firms do much traditional labor work (and even less traditional labor litigation), so you may be asked to transition to a different practice focus.

Depends on your trajectory for partnership. It’s generally harder to make partner at a big law firm but if you do, then yes it’s more money. But partnership at a mid level or big 4 could be more lucrative than career counsel at a big law firm.
