10th NOV - Technical and PDM round (Wed)
12th NOV - Got call from HR and he mentioned I may selected.
14th NOV - Got call from HR and he sent some BGV forms.
15th NOV - Attended Cognitive Test
18th NOV - Got call from HR regarding Preferred Location and mentioned he started working on OL.
1st Dec - Got OL and also mailed them for extending my doj.

I’m in a situation where I already accepted an offer from another company and google came back saying I passed to the last interview round. Even though google is my dream/end goal job, I decided to walk away from the opportunity. I answered the Manual Testing questions correctly and automation questions fairly. I got a rejection mail from HR as below , Is this the common template for everyone or should I hope for future roles after several months .I am already in notice period and feeling low.

Do companies sponsor entry-level employees for green cards? Not necessarily fresh out of college, but with 1-2 years of experience, can I ask my company to do that for me or would it be hard for them to prove that there are no qualified US employees for my position?

It’s been asked before whether it’s worth it to pay (~$150) to upgrade a 3 hr flight. I generally agree it is not. But what if your two tweenagers bicker nonstop and are complete and total jerks to you all the time and your spouse chooses the “they’ll grow out of it” approach to things so basically you just want 3 hours of alone time. Then is it worth it?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). Hi! First off, I know none of this constitutes legal advice, etc., but I’d like some outside perspectives and advice here.

My wife found out she makes ~25% less that her male co-worker did when he was her level of seniority, and they have the same job responsibilities and the exact same credentials (same undergrad, masters program, etc.); he now makes 50% more than she does, but has 3 more years of WE, so to me that’s not as applicable.

Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?
