Monday's silver lining: The Bachelor
A lot of us find concepting to music w/ little to no lyrics to be helpful. I’ve found myself needing a collection that opens up new thought areas. I put this playlist together for that purpose. 🙏 https://open.spotify.com/user/erice82/playlist/1CbAyrzrPPsOPcskfkPmK9?si=ABjPqGM8RRO7ZEDYYz88_A

Anything she can reliably eat with one hand. Quiche was a favorite that a coworker brought for me.
Yes to quiche. I had a baby recently and my mom made me quiche once a week. Easy to prep and eat and so filling!
I gave wine when they moved in.
I don’t know if I wanted healthy as much as hearty when I had mine. Maybe a regular lasagna? Or cookies. :)
Poor momma is going to be surviving on too little sleep and trying to care for a Brand baby. Echoing VP who suggested something she can have one-handed. Hearty foods are good- lasagna, eggplant parm, casseroles (does anyone still make those?)...
I would’ve loved a casserole PP. I’m gonna look for a good one. 💪🏻 good suggestion!
Anything you make will be appreciated.

How about a seamless gift card?
Suburb life... we have garbage takeout up here.
Is she breastfeeding? Lactation cookies were a godsend for me (and delicious/hearty). Beyond that, some awesome snacks were a staple for me - carrot/celery sticks and babybels.
I don’t cook so can’t help here but just wanted to say - that’s so nice of you!
Yes, it’s so nice. When I had mine I was living in a smaller city and it was common for people
to sign up to bring food to the new parents. Our closest friend set it up and others signed up for different days. We had food for weeks! It was great. Perk of a smaller community I guess.
Something that could be frozen/saved and is good reheated. I second a regular lasagna with a good loaf of bread :)
And soup could be good too!
My sister made me minestrone soup when I was postpartum and it was great. Some was eaten straight away, some in the freezer. Very easy to reheat. Such a nice idea to cook for your neighbor 💕
