You spelled chief wrong

Broad consensus seems to be that it currently saves some time here and there, catches things now and then... not life changing, just workflow changing

like

kinda like it, but also still learning what it likes and what its talents are.

I wish there were a menu of pre-loaded, partner-approved, practice-specific workflows for very common tasks. I think the quality is good but from what I see the roll out on more-than-just-a-chatbox is nowhere near at the same level for UI. My two cents.

CoCounsel Actually hahaha

Harvey gets me 20% of the way there, but one should never submit something Harvey created without reviewing. I always catch errors.

I’m my partners only associate and I went on parental leave two weeks ago. I feel horrible for leaving him to handle our cases alone, but am trying to focus on my wife and new baby. That being said, should I still offer to handle minor matters that come in to ease the workload off my boss? He’s been super cool during my entire leave, so I don’t feel pressured to one bit.

How are 1st year litigation associates dealing with WFH? I’ve been having terrible anxiety/panic attacks, and pretty sure my billables wont exceed 110 for April. I’ve been super stressed about it and don’t know how to move on to May with the proper mindset to make up for as much time missed as possible. CA courts are still closed, and I’m worried I won’t be able to exceed (or even meet) my May goal after April.

I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now.
