No one is immune from layoffs. Remember, companies go under all the time. They just may be at a later round.
Nobody is immune from layoffs. If anything, HR is more at-risk seeing as HR does not generate revenue and is often seen as a hurdle in the process of getting work done.
Nope. Was just laid off in HR. After six rounds in our business it finally hit HR. Nobody is immune.
Why would HR be immune from layoffs? There probably isn't a department from any size company that is immune from layoffs. Especially if a company is seeing declining revenue or is expected to see reduced revenue in the coming months for one reason or another

At least Zoom's CEO was willing to take a hit, too. Most of the time they get huge raises and bonuses when they jettison half their staff.

I do not think HR is immune at all. I have seen HR teams cut too, especially when hiring slows down. It just depends how the organisation views the function
