Anyone use power query before? Hi team. I received my offer from Amazon and signed my contract a few weeks ago. I also resigned from my current company after agreeing on a starting date mid-January. Seeing the news of the hiring freeze worries me though - do we know if this applies to roles where offers have been extended? Could they retract an offer after I signed a contract? I've been working at this company for about 3.5 weeks now. Its been great so far.

We have an org chart in our dashboard ATS/HRIS and so I clicked on my first day buddies name just for fun.

I was able to see her entire employee file..even her address. I was really freaked out and I went to another profile and the same thing happened, I was able to see this person's emergency contact. Is this fucking normal? Should I say something and will I get in trouble for looking at a colleagues file?

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

How do I leave my role as someone on the talent team. I am on a small recruitment team of only a few people, who connect daily. I am also responsible for sending out updates tracking new hires and upcoming leavers (aka I would be on this list if i decide to leave). If I am looking to leave my company, considering all of these things, how do I do it in the least awkward, most professional way possible? I want to put in at least a two week notice, but will continuing my work after that be weird?
