My company is relocating to the other side of the city, and I'm choosing to move near the new office to keep my commute short. But it's in a nicer area, so rent and other expenses are way higher. Since I’m only moving because the company is, can I reasonably ask for a compensation bump to cover the difference?

Anyone using Edward Jones? Feel like we did a mistake and rolled over all my husbands retirement accounts from different employers and our kids 529 under them Jan 2020.
