My company recently mandated public progress-plans-problems reporting. Most use Slack, but I created an internal rolling doc with them for my team, then share the link every week so people go there and read it. The twist: the doc has analytics so I can see who exactly visits the PPP page on a weekly basis. Less than 5% of the channel audience does, including the upper management who demanded it. How would you go about presenting this information to senior leadership?

Ps, do you notice who does the work? Got lukewarm feedback on a project with a huge team that included 3 Ms with one playing pseudo-Lead as their “slide-building and analysis aren’t as great”

So I had 3 deals scheduled to either close end of May or mid June which were all pushed to end of June/beginning of July. Which is when I have my first vacation planned for over a year (I take 0 time off). My whole family is flying up and we’re renting a cabin near me. What do I do? I’m running one of the deals, semi running the other one and not doing much leading on the other one. Note: I was supposed to not be running any of these. Do I find a back up first or tell the partners first?

Starting a new job at Applied Materials on Monday as a Manufacturing Engineer III. I’ve been out of college for 5 years and all of my work experience till now has been in R&D for start ups and small businesses .
