My current shoes are terrible, and by the end of a shift, my feet are screaming at me. What brands do you trust for long shifts? I need real cushioning and arch support. I'm desperate here and willing to spend more if they're worth it! Thank you.

I think you should check with your podiatrist and see if something is going on with your feet ( fallen arch????) maybe you might need a custom insole?????

That said I like brooks ALOT

Can’t recommend Hokas enough!

like

+1 for Hokas! One of my coworkers is obsessed with NoBull or whatever that company is called, but I honestly don't get the hype. I bought a pair expecting pillowy comfort and they were anything but. They're my gardening shoes now.

I really like Flux. They have wide toe box which helps me for long shifts. Plus I have a bunion and plantar fasciitis

like

HOKAS and Podiatry insoles.. been wearing them for 10 years.. happy feet happy Nurse & wife🤭

I wore brooks to start out with, then they started to hurt. I wore Hoka Bondis and then they started to hurt. Now all I wear are on cloud Cloudmonsters. I have problems with walking hard on my heels and have a high arch, I havent Ever had a problem with them yet, and I own 4 pairs…I work in CVICU/ICU so I am always on my feet (12 hour shifts). Highly recommend

like

Yes they are recommended by physical therapist too

Hoka is good

like

Clove are my ish!

Brooks 100%. You could also try On Cloud.

Similar to you, I would have foot pain at the end of every shift. I went to a podiatrist who recommended Hokas for my flat feet. The Bondis and Gaviotas are great.

I wear jackshibo. Feel like expensive Hokas but way less expensive. Wide toe box. Super cushioned.

Try wearing compression socks for those long shifts

Hokas!!! Try the Bondi SR. They will change your work life.

Given the positive tone of our conversation, I expect to receive an offer this week.
