My father has been a victim of cyber fraud. Two days ago, he received a message on WhatsApp and was asked to download an APK file. After installing it, he made a small payment of ₹10. The next day, approximately ₹46,000 was debited from his savings account without his authorization.

He is feeling very distressed about the incident. I have already lodged complaints with the relevant authorities, but I am looking for any additional guidance or suggestions that might help in recovering the money.

I’ll go first- I’ll tell myself to not overshare, especially to the manager. People will generally make an image of you and judge you on basis of that even if you have changed a lot.
