My friend is looking for a job as an engineer. He recently graduated and has no experience. He said that noone has been giving him interviews despite him applying for like 20 jobs a week. What kind of advice can I give him?

I think that the best advice is to stay persistent and to see if his school has connections and to perhaps volunteer somewhere for experience.

If a Recruiter declines you or doesn’t choose to reach out, it is because the hiring team declined you, or you don’t have the experience. You will most likely not be considered for future roles because of this. When I see people giving advice to reach outside the Recruiter, it’s bad advice. Very rare is this a good idea.
