Anyone with insight on Tyson Mendes?
Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

I hear you because that's pretty much the only complaint I have about my job. The routine of admin work is so repetitive and thankless. But if I were you, I'd try to remind myself that accuracy and reliability are the backbone of any organization; if the data isn’t right, everything else can fall apart. When I start feeling stuck in that loop, I like to set small goals for myself, look for ways to streamline a process, or learn a new shortcut that makes my work more efficient. Sometimes, I’ll ask my manager if I can take on a small project outside my usual tasks, just to break things up and learn something new. Connecting with others in the office helps, too.
I’ve been there! I started asking deeper questions about the data: how it impacts decisions, who relies on it, what patterns I could recognize. That helped me reconnect to the bigger picture. Also, automating the repetitive stuff gave me more space to problem-solve and think strategically.
What can be automated & how? Great idea!
Kind of enjoy the monotony to be fair. It’s a lot of the same but different little details in my day and I think I’m more a creature of habit anyways. There might be some different tasks you could take on or maybe dive into something a little adjacent, just depends on your company!

I miss the monotony. But while I'm in it, I definitely want more. There's no balance 😂 I create opportunities from needs I see that people have and find ways to pitch in. Moving to EA helped create more opportunities to do work that could be considered more meaningful.
No, you’re right. My job is pretty basic. Do the same task day after day after day on auto pilot. I don’t love it. I wish for something more exciting wish to shake things up. I just don’t know where to begin. Feel like I just got comfortable here and now I’m stuck.
I felt something like this at my most recent job, I felt I had no growth, or incentive, and was taking on a lot more than what I was getting paid for. For data entry, is there anything else that can be added to your responsibility to add a little variety? I was fired, and decided it was time for me to look into other business aspects within the Administrative world.
