First thing after your LWD is your laptop, login credentials are available to u ?. If available u can work on Sunday, only if u want , if not u have full freedom to not reply to that email also or reject by proper reason
If you had good relations with your manager and team you can just help them.
I also faced similar situation. I left and they had some major prod outage I just guided them with the steps how to fix it.
Just inform your manager you won't work the whole day but if any issues you can guide
It is pretty simple : The answer is NO
You cannot work for a company beyond the LWD. If they are/were so dependant on you, they should have got a couple of resources trained by you, or would have retained you.
Working beyond your LWD will actualy be a breach of security. Your manager and your team can get in big trouble for allowing an external person to work in the project.
Reply to the email, and make sure to mark the HR and Head HR in CC, and say :
I have informed this in the past that my last working day is on Friday. I hope you are already updated with this fact. There is no possible way for me to work beyond my Last Working Day. I do not think this is ethical.
Tell him that friday is ur last working Day and tell after last working day how can you work!
So what did you bro, did you work on Sunday
Expose the Manager 😜😜
It's heigh probability that author must have switched company and issue been resolved way back.
Still everyone here is commenting and giving valuable suggestions.
@Authour please tell us what happened otherwise this thread is going to be eternal one.
Your laptop won't be submitted?
But won't your ID be disabled on last working day .. just say No in the Email itself.. you are not getting the promotion anyway 😁 agreed with infosys 5
Out of respect, you can convey that you are available on calls for any issues but can't be available for whole call
Lol. You can't. You won't be able to have your Machine, ID, Access to office and applications.
If you do, that's non-conformance to various policies and standards.
Kuch nahi kar sakte woh.
Bhai access hi chale jaate hai first of all and secondly keh de paise aap denge to kr skta...
Officially you should simply mail him and said this is not possible as Friday is ur lwd and let him know this is policy breach as I am not in contract with infy
Bol do MML
OP kaam karne wala hai kal
After last working day it will become moonlighting, tell them if they happy with it. 😃
If you have access and if you dont have any other important work... U can do this work not for any promotion or something but just for your happiness 😍 end it with good terms 👍🏼
Wow. I had similar experiences in my previous company where my last working day was pushed to Sunday. Great people. They even called me for doubts even after my relieving, I just smiled at them and asked WTF do you want very politely.
He is asking to give support on call. Not a big deal. Just reply As I have no access now I will be available for urgent calls only.
Mofos.. His LWD is coming friday. Not last friday which is in past.. Moonlighting people have some common sense
if you work they will pay you or not? if they pay you, you can work
