First thing after your LWD is your laptop, login credentials are available to u ?. If available u can work on Sunday, only if u want , if not u have full freedom to not reply to that email also or reject by proper reason
If you had good relations with your manager and team you can just help them.
I also faced similar situation. I left and they had some major prod outage I just guided them with the steps how to fix it.
Just inform your manager you won't work the whole day but if any issues you can guide
Tell him it's a security violation to get involved in any project activity after lwd as mentioned in my separation mail and you do not want to risk your career because after you sign off ,the same manager won't help you if any security incident gets raised and your fnf is put on hold.
He must have forgotten about your LWD, tell him that you'll charge twice the amount you were paid and work as a freelancer for that. 🤣🤣🤣

Just say you are out of town to vacation on himalays where cellular network is limited. If he still wants the work ask the company to book every teammates ticket for himalayas 😂
Tell him I can do freelancing and tell him that you will charge per hour for the work you are going to do on Sunday and that also in advance😁

Ask a clear approval from HR, as you won't be responsible for any work going wrong, security breach in case you're working after your LWD.
Ask him to pay you 1lakh directly in your account for the work on Sunday. Fair deal eh?
For $1000/hr do it OP. Otherwise they can go kick rocks.
You can reply back saying post Friday it may be technically considered as moonlighting :)
Revert over the same mail..and confidently mention your LwD and tell him it won't be possible for you to work on Sunday in any sense..and if in good term Directly say you will not be available as you will be out of town..
Op it seems u r a real deal breaker. Even after ur lwd ur manger want you to support them. U r a real gem.. jokes apart. If any security breach or wrong hppens ur manager wont even support u.lol.. kick his ass

It's not ethical. All your leads along with your manager can be terminated on the same day if any evidence is found later.
