There is helpful “anti-distraction” tint on the inside, and see-through tint on the outside to “foster a collaborative environment.” Is this happening elsewhere? Everyone in my group is busy, and firm laptops already have plenty of spy bloatware. Is the extra surveillance really necessary?

Question for funds folks, since no one is around to answer any questions and I can't seem to find this answer anywhere. Why can't a placement agent combine or integrate the offering of interests in the sponsor's fund with the contemporaneous offering of interests in another fund? Is it based on reputational risk or from a sales perspective in case someone rejects both funds, any other issues? Thanks!

The new firm seems like it would be better for the sector I'm specialising in but anyone else I hear that moves tends to get a considerable payrise! I feel reluctant to move if I'm not getting a big pay jump... Is moving for the same pay a done thing?
