Spouse can work once the H1b holder gets an i140 approved (one of the main steps in GC petition). So you can work with your employer to get your GC petition filed (avg 18-24 months to get to i140 stage). The other thing to influence your decision could be where do you want to be and why. Why are you moving from your home country? It you're (and your spouse) India born, GC will take forever unless you file in an EB1 category, so if you want faster path to permanent residency opt for an L1 transfer (if you're eligible), or go to another country (CANZUK). You can always move to the US later once you've obtained your permanent residency elsewhere
Canadian born here so same timeline as Indians for h1b. Don’t want to go on TN as it has its own downside.
Pivot to Canada - it’s the land of flowing milk and honey.
Canadian born and educated - left for the US at 28 on an L1 and now GC, and haven’t looked back. Canada is a great place for the lower middle class, but for most on this bowl, your career (opportunities and comp) will be far better stateside. I think only after living there for sometime will you see that unless you are on the fringe of society, you are being disadvantaged by high taxes, low standard of living (minimal disposable income factoring in low salaries and high housing costs), and a deteriorating health care system which you do pay into (added as a line item on your tax return). The US certainly isn’t without faults, but for the average professional on this bowl, the decision is clear.
My organization won't file GC even after 4yrs

So then you know the possibilities then I guess. Decide based on what you want overall
You should prefer UK in my opinion. The salary bar is not same as US but will be better than canada. Your dependent would be able to work full time as well.
Compensation in the UK and Canada is almost similar. In addition, UK has a very high inflation rate compared to the rest of G7 nations (is officially in a protracted recession). Furthermore, route to ILR (or PR) is a long shot (circa 5-6 years). The UK is also significantly more expensive than Canada - look at the prices of an Apple iPhone/Tesla/a Windows laptop with Canadian prices (almost 20% higher).
At AD1 London is expensive, barring London any other city is 50% cheaper.
I agree
How about India ?
