My SO has ~100K sitting in a savings account. She’s a student so very low income. Does it make more sense to start a 401K + IRA and invest it in chunks of 25K? Or max out this years retirement and then just throw the rest in an ETF?

How did you navigate refinancing loans? I have both private and federal loans (definitely applying for the relief for the federa). I'm going to have to refinance all of them bit I don't really know where to start. We started back in August in distance learning mode, core subjects only. So no STEM classes. One of our 8th grade teachers was out on maternity leave, so I was asked to take that spot for the first semester. I was a long time 5th grade teacher, so not a difficult adjustment, except for learning new to me digital curriculum.

All of them I know >3 are on a personal improvement plan for very basic reasons. One faced blatant racism and was placed off the project.
