After being a consultant for 6 years I now know that partners are basically salesmen who have litte value to offer. Whole business is based on making clients believe they need outside help.

Need advice. I have received many calls from the companies but none of them are even scheduling the interviews. They say my current CTC is out of their budget. I even said that I am ready to negotiate based on their company budget as my priority is relocation near to my hometown. How can I convince HRs to at least schedule the interview and the salary discussion can be done at a later stage. Some companies have already discussed the final salary but the interview is not yet scheduled.

I feel like I have no idea what I am doing. Just working for the sake of working and surviving. Close to 9 years of experience now but off late feeling like having no clue.
