Name something that you are thankful for so far this year. For me, I am thankful for my family and health! Let’s go!

Family is everything and I'm most grateful for their support especially after I got laid off earlier this year. It’s been a hard year, but I’m feeling so grateful I landed another role after months of searching. So far so good.

Health (physical and mental), love from family and friends, employment. Life is good 😎

I am thankful for my friends. I have the worlds greatest friends and you cannot convince me otherwise.

I finally got promoted and it feels great to be able to be in a position i can help others develop and also share my knowledge. Many associates get overlooked coz their manager focuses on his/her development.

Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Also, will claimable components like LTA, mobile bill reimbursement etc. be in addition to this fixed component or will they be included in it?

Is it normal for a big4 to take over two months in the interview process? Since end of January I've had five interviews w team members, including with the partner who leads the practice I'd be joining. Still no word. I've gotten nothing but positive feedback with the in-house recruiter I'm working with. Is this normal? I'd love to work for this firm and don't want to be annoying :)

Hey, i’ll be joining PA Consulting at the end of this year.

Does anyone know how the business is structured? My contract says i’m part of the Sourcing, IT Strategy & Corporate Services capability. I’ve shown an interest in Finance transformation given my experience and wondered if Finance transformation is within that capability?

I am so beyond ready to leave my current job, but can’t yet, since bonuses are paid out in January. 😬

In the meantime, I’ve applied to a lot of similar roles (slightly higher) but have not heard - good or bad - from any. Is it common for companies to slow down hiring in December because of Q4 rush, people on holiday, etc.?

How do you stop obsessing over a new romance?

In my 30s and have dated a lot. I've done casual flings, had a couple serious LTRs, been deeply in love, and had a lot of meaningless, purely physical hookups in my day.

Through all of these, my attachment style has always been secure as a fully realized person. I never needed someone to make me feel whole.

This new woman is completely intoxicating. She was clear: purely casual. It makes me want what I can't have, something more serious with her.
