The only thing I can think of is an offer to have some equity with 13k fmv annually
And keep in mind health insurance benefits are tax free, which means they'd need to offset that gap by about 17k salary just to keep you even.
@EY2 their health insurance policy premiums are 13k more than my current policy. Either way I plan on using tax free funds

This might be a dumb question, but how do you value health insurance in terms of compensation?
Compare premium cost and coverage. In my case coverage was mostly the same but the monthly cost was way more at the new job

Other than increased base pay or increased vacation...I can't come up with anything except "pay my health insurance premiums".
Update: they didn't budge one penny on health insurance so I passed. Still in PA
