I'm coming from Deloitte (A&D engineer previously), where i had enjoyed/been most productive in strategy assessment projects... Part of why I'm going for S& before PwC. But would love to hear about the kinds of projects to expect, differences vs what I've done, and any other interview prep suggestions.

I'm a first yr attorney at an insurance firm and am in the process of interviewing for an in-house position at a tech company. The position is pretty much generalist, but I get the impression I'd be working mostly on SaaS and partnership transactions. I definitely think I would like the transactional work better, but I am concerned about the long-term earning potential vs. partnership. Hi, i got a call from Hucon consultancy, Hyderabad regarding ADP manager opening but they are asking adhar number. Is it normal process that ADP ask adhar number before scheduling any interview?

Today I learned a new thing. One candidate was referred by a colleague of mine in the system. He got selected and offer letter rolled out.

When he checked the system he realized the referral was not taken and the background system captured it as direct hire.

So my friend is not going to get any referral incentive.

For those of us whose firms start their FY on 12/1, how did you do on your hours this past year?

So my home office is in city A and I got assigned to a job in city B. Would EY reimburse the flight if I’m flying from city C to city B?

I got a job offer as a Tax Associate at PwC. I want to negotiate the salary but the HR said he cant just increase my salary since that would be unfair to other associates. The only thing he can do is to ask to compensation team and if the team approve, every in-coming associates would get a salary increase. Is that true?

If I wanna leave the firm in December.. when do I have to tell to my audit teams? I have to be utilized well enough to get my 30 month experience till december.

When people think all I do are tax returns and I'm like "No, I do estimates and extensions too. You're just not rich enough for that"
