That's true about loud people not necessarily being the best leaders. I've known it to be quite the opposite. Someone who is quiet and trustworthy will just have the respect of people working for them, and that will translate to better results.

Very true. Respect and trust go a long way in leadership. When a leader is calm and consistent, the team naturally feels more comfortable and motivated to do their best. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
Transparency and good communication. My boss is awesome about both. He never has to raise his voice or be heavy-handed to get us to do what needs to get done. I really appreciate that management style and will be employing it myself if/when I get to his level.

That’s great to hear. It really shows how powerful transparency and clear communication can be. Leaders who don’t rely on authority but earn respect through consistency make a big difference. Sounds like you’ve had a great example to learn from, and your future team will definitely appreciate that approach too.
I totally agree! Some of my best managers are the quiet, but consistent ones!

Thanks for sharing! I’ve noticed the same, quiet but consistent managers often build the strongest trust within a team. Glad you’ve had that experience too. 😊
