Does interviewer nowadays still write early feedback prior to sharing the full feedback with recruiters?

So, I’m interviewing for a position that fits perfectly, HR likes my profile, had great conversations with them. Today I had a Panel interview with HR and the hiring manager. The manager is not experienced, it’s her first r manager role and she’s been in it for 3 months. I was prepared but was out of breath the entire interview, had a knot in my throat, had trouble finding my words. It’s like I had PTSD when this manager came into the picture. Ever had that?

What are your thoughts about putting an explanation for the current gap (as in, I haven’t been working for several months) on your resume, LinkedIn profile or cover letter? If you think it should be included in one of these places, how would you do it?

Hi fishes, I have recently attended an interview with Accenture India Accenture couple of days back and can see the candidature status is on hold after my 1st round of interview. Does this mean that they are waiting for others to complete their interview or am I rejected? If not ,how many days they tak appxm to make a decision. I got email from LTI "Thank you for applying to LTIMindtree and going through our complete selection process" on 27 Sept but after 1 week I follow up on offer letter she said my approval got rejected due high expectation (35% hike ). We re-negotiate at 6 Sept (30% hike). Now they will release offer letter or not ?

After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".

How can I get over this feeling? I'm over the whole "stand in the line of fire to prove how good I am" bs. Any recommendations for getting over this or possible industries to pivot into to avoid bs interview processes and ghosting?

I write economic loss reports. Am I allowed to give a redacted sample of my written economic appraisals to a recruiter? If so, what specifically should I redact.

I have 5 years exp in (GCP cloud predominant for 3 years now) DevOps field in Financial Services area including FinTech (Fidelity Investments), Bank (HSBC) & Insurance(CNA Insurance - currently working). Also have a Masters in MIS. I have got & cleared calls from AWS for AWS Developer, Architect roles & failed on-site FB Production Engineer role interview. I just found out that a new person at work that has been with us at the hospital for about 2 months max is making more than I am by quite a bit. This person has about 19 years of retail experience and can only work 2 shifts with us. I have about 7 years of of hospital experience all at the same place and I’m able to cover any shift in our pharmacy, super user for all of our systems, trained in our PN iv room, oncology iv room and our main iv room, also RIVA system admin. Has working in corrections changed your life?

Anybody here have a Canon R and thinking about the R6 Mk 2? I'm debating. Biggest negative for me is the drop from the 30 mp sensor down to the 24 mp sensor. I don't do alot of "action" photography so many of the enhanced R6 features won't get used alot. I don't do video.

I think ISO is better in the R6 Mk 2. I do miss the joystick on my old 7D. IS seems greatly improved.

Is this just FOMO? As a hobbyist who shoots primarily landscapes, is this an upgrade I need?

Looking for some advice on a career change. I work in a technical role and have well-developed soft skills. I want to transition to UX (w/ focus on accessibility). There are a lot of UX educational programs out there, some very new, e.g. Dribbble, and costs are all over the place - General Assembly is $15k (and full-time), CareerFoundry almost $8k, and then many others at a fraction of the price. Reviews also vary wildly. Are these more expensive programs worth the huge increase in cost?

Is it normal for a Product Owner to lay out specs for how a feature should work?

I thought that was my job as the ux designer to figure out the best way to solve a need. But I’m getting handed projects where the PO, and sometimes the senior designer has laid out exactly what should happen (components used, flow, etc) to design a feature. It’s really frustrating because I don’t know if I’m supposed to be speaking up on what I think or just do the UI work I’m asked to.

I joined a project that had already started and the team already settled on creating a user journey map, even though none of them are designers or in ux. I also have no experience in this field as I'm a data engineer. The user journey map was for mapping out the process for tenants finding housing assistance, so not a technical product. Given this new field and type of work, I've been having a really tough time. Anyone mind sharing what helped get you through your first ux project?

I have my BS in Psychology and CLDP, and I've had experience with research while in college. However, I'm not sure if my current role would be helpful in transitioning into this career. How do you approach usability testing for new onboarding sequences? I work with a variety of SaaS businesses and recently requests have come in to test onboarding prototypes.

New users are the first to touch onboarding so how do I recruit the appropriate participants to test? Recruiting new users doesn’t seem feasible, I would think we should run A/B tests and cross-check analytics to measure success? Any insight is appreciated!

UX Designers - how long did it take for you to find a junior role when starting out in UX?

I’m a product designer with about 5+ YOE I’m exploring courses/programs that one could take up as a mid career professional. I have a keen interest in Service Design, Behavioural Sciences, Design Research but not very sure about the opportunities. At the same time I’m open to exploring Product Mgmnt and Data science as along with design. Any recommendations?

I am considering switching careers from architecture to UX design or Product Management, and am unsure about which route I want to take. Is it common for someone to switch between UX and PMing within the same company? If so is it common in both directions?
