Hey everyone, I’m wanting to transition to tech from healthcare. I have 5 years experience, working front office (clinic scheduling, admin etc), currently back office (referrals, prior authorizations) , I have basic medical billing/coding knowledge & also provider credentialing experience. Some of you may have dealt w similar scenario. My company is being bought out by another firm. They have said the deal is a sure thing, but there is no indication as to when it happens. Also, they have told me that they cannot afford to bill out my work for the same price they have been. This means they want to reduce my salary and that of others to reduce costs. Is this something they can legally do if there is a contract in place. Also is it worth negotiating with them or to simply quit.
