What are the best Sales books y’all read?
Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

I think you have to be terminated.
No.
You also can't file if termed for cause in most situations. (You can file but your former employer will reject the claim).
It depends. I quit one of my jobs and got unemployment
Agreed, it could affect your ability to boomerang. However, my view is, I have tried to boomerang and don't know if it's just me, but hasn't worked in 20 years, so I negotiated this deal once, knowing that when I leave, it's likely over with that employer. But no worries - the rest of the Big 4 or smaller boutiques would prob take a chance on you - I've gotten those recruiter calls! You asked what's in it for the firm. If you ask for this so you can collect UI, by helping you, the firm may benefit by leaving you the impression that they are willing to accommodate a reasonable request. By the way, make sure you leave around the first of the month so your health insurance continues the rest of the month. One final tip, remember that you're in the driver's seat with your career - and that includes your exit strategy. Good luck!!🍀
Your employer doesn't approve or pay claims. The forms you file with the state will indicate the terms of whether or not you are eligible. The state may take steps to verify your statements.
You can get it pretty easily depending on the state. The state department of labor rules on these claims and if they rule in the company's favor it costs the state. So, they usually rule against the company. Just say that they changed your hours to something ridiculous and forced you to quit.
Source: had someone pull this shit on me when I was in industry. My company lost 😕
I got it from the only job I gave no notice to. I just got up and left, which was months in coming, but I had to explain that and luckily the company didn't fight it
Ask your manager to have HR code your departure as a termination, especially if your decision has any type of mutual component e.g., unstaffed for long periods or that you no longer want to travel.
Wanted to start my own business and could really use an incubation period. But if HR codes it as a term, wouldn't that hurt me if I ever wanted to boomerang back? Right now this is all just a pipe dream, but if I ever did leave I'd want it to be on the best possible terms with my firm. I don't think there is anything in it for them to code as a term?
