McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

Excerpt from an article I read:
“Earlier this year, for example, it emerged that Elliot Broidy, the former RNC deputy finance chairman paid $1.6m to a Playboy Playmate he had an affair with, after she aborted his child.
Then there is Tim Murphy, the pro-life Pennsylvania Republican who resigned last year after it was revealed he had urged his mistress to consider an abortion. And let’s not forget the charming Scott DesJarlais. According to testimony during his divorce trial, the Tennessee congressman supported his ex-wife's decision to get two abortions before their marriage. The former doctor also allegedly pressured a 24-year-old patient he was having an affair with to get an abortion. Even after all that information came out DesJarlais still had the gall to vote for anti-abortion bills and boast of having a “100% pro-life voting record."
Tl;Dr: probably not.

Easy answer: don’t get an abortion. Even better: don’t put yourself in a situation that requires abortion. And even better than that: if due to unfortunate circumstances you took precautions and the condom broke or something, take responsibility for the decision to have sex. Every decision you make comes with risks and consequences and you consent to those when you make the decision. Stop whining. Take ownership of your life. And don’t murder your child because you wanted to get off. (And yes, before you freak out and list all the exceptions to the rule, states that have banned abortion allow them in cases where 1) there’s an ectopic pregnancy and 2) the mother’s life is endangered by some other issue. Some states that have banned abortions have also added clauses for cases of rape and that kind of thing.) Outside of those exceptions, if you’re having sex, you consent to the risks. The end.
Well, there were some pretty awful takes over the past 24 hours, but this one has to be one of the worst.
