now guys one time I was doing my job as a very professional dentist when a customer came in. I thought it would just be a regular appointment but I thought wrong. the customer would then open its mouth real wide and thats when I saw the combustion. before I can react it was all over me. the patient said "diddly darn, GYATT to go!" and then skidadled, but not before pickpocketing me. the combustion was everywhere. it busted everywhere. I think I'm gonna have to quit because of this

I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate

Hello everyone I have 29 years as a dental professional in Texas. I started as a dental assistant back in 1993. As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough! Has anyone found anything that is legit work from home? Either remote treatment plan presenting or helping with scheduling? I really need something from home because my husband travels so much.
