I was told they specifically cater to Indian clients.
Please guide me with the following -
What is the traveling expectation, how are the hours, do we need to work on weekends?
How much salary and designation I can expect.
Current Ctc 30L, Infosys consulting, senior consultant. Expecting 10% hike in August/September.
Thanks in advance.

I worked as a sort of support member that attended football practices. I worked up in the press box (no way of communicating to the field at the time) so when they started going inside one practice I assumed practice was over. I asked 2 people in charge if it was ok to go home, they said yes. They went inside because of a severe storm. I didn't know this, so imagine my shock and horror when I came face to face with a tornado about to touch down in front of me! Quite an interesting experience.
Honestly I don't know why they didn't say anything, but it was clear they never respected me or communicated well.
I once had to clock in at my shift during an active tornado warning. Like, sirens were blaring and the sky was completely black. During midday. I tried to call out and was told that tornadoes weren't approved excuses, and I already had too many tardies and absences. So it was basically, going into work or lose my job. Well, I went into work and it ended up being fine. But it was a pretty scary couple of hours, lol.

My boss made the genius decision of keeping our store open when Hurricane Ian was barreling down on us a couple years ago. If we were Walmart or Target or a grocery store, it would have made sense because people are always rushing around buying last minute hurricane supplies. We're not, though - we're a small boutique that no one feels the need to visit before a monster storm. I think a total of two customers came in during my shift, and she still insisted on staying open for normal hours. I was so mad having to rush to put hurricane shutters up on my apartment in the pouring rain.

Wow, that sounds so frustrating and honestly, kind of ridiculous. Like, why risk people’s safety for a boutique during a hurricane? It’s wild how some places act like business as usual no matter what’s going on outside.
some years ago, we were going through a polar vortex for 2 days- the mall was closed the 1st day but opened the second day 🙃There was also another time were I was going to work while there was a bad snowstorm happening- there were barely any customers both days!

Wow, that’s brutal! It’s like, why risk it in weather like that when nobody’s coming anyway?
During the Blizzard of 93 (sometimes called "Storm of the Century", as are like 50 other storms from that century), I was dispatching for a courier company. We made the decision to close down, but "mission critical" deliveries had to go out. I swear I was the only one out on the road. Drove 500 miles in a blizzard, no issues. Until I was half a mile from the terminal, and the end of my shift, and I slid off the road. Managed to get it out and finish the run with just some scratches from the trees I came to rest against.
I had more "snow days" in 7 years in Texas than I did in nearly 30 in the Northeast, including elementary school. I do laugh when they close down for 3 inches of snow, but am glad that I work for companies that put employee safety (and the resulting lawsuit, let's be honest) over (lack of) sales.
I once had to open a coffee shop during a hurricane warning: no power, no customers, just me and a soggy apron wondering why I was even there. The worst part? They still made us clock out “early” to save payroll. I needed the job, though, so I just did it. lol

Ugh, that hits hard. Showing up in hurricane conditions, no power, no customers and then getting told to clock out early to save payroll? That’s just plain wrong. You did what you had to do, and that kind of hustle says a lot.

worked in South Florida at a grocery store. We had a huge hurricane and store was closed for 3 days with no electric before we could get in to clean it out. they let people in to get dry goods (powdered milk, bread etc etc} we had all refridgerated areas blocked off floors were wet and sticky everything spoiled or melted. and yep we had people bringing up spoiled meat and the such ( mind you we still had no power) one woman brought up three gallons of milk that was already seperated in the jugs and fought with the cashier because she needed it for her babies. . we got a truck full of ice basically they were told to go in pay for it limit of 2 and bring reciept to me and I would get it off the truck for them. well this guy decides he wants his ice first climbs on the truck ended up with a kick to the middle of his chest, cops just laughed at him he had been warned by them to not try it, needless to say no one else tried that LOL
