For anyone that is interested, the Celsius first bankruptcy hearing is going on now and will likely have repercussions and could set precedents across other similar cases. These are the key considerations, at least a few of which IMO are absolutely reprehensible.
It does sound at least like the judge and Kirkland (lawyers) are leaning towards ruling in favor of the folks with custody accounts.

You mean to stay away from ponzi schemes. Bitconnect did not have a business model to lend coins. They had a ponzi scheme, which is different than proper lending. There are some companies trying to disrupt and descentralize lending by passing interest and risk to the lender. That model looks interesting and sustainable.

True.. you were lending to a fake bot that just ate the coins. But, I don’t think you can lend with
crypto yet—it’s just too volatile compared to fiat.
