Our industry is pretty different than it was just 10 years ago, and I suspect the next 10 years will see lots of change as well. For starters, I think we're going to see so much more stablecoin integration into the financial system and it will be a game changer. What do you think will change over the next 10 years?

Personally, I think crypto will be kinda done for once AI and quantum computing are operating at full capacity. Encryption will basically cease to exist due to the ability of quantum computers to process massive amounts of data, and lack of encryption kinda defeats the purpose of cryptocurrency.
Idk, I hope I'm wrong

Honestly reading your comment scares me a little because I love crypto and its potential but you could be right. After getting my crypto hacked a few months back I've trimmed my positions significantly. We'll see what it does.

Yeah I honestly feel like we're only seeing the tip of the iceberg with stablecoin integration at this point. I think this is also pretty obvious, but AI is going to really revolutionize so much of the finance industry too. Underwriting will become entirely automated I think, and I really think financial advising will become nearly obsolete with consumers relying mostly on AI for that advice.

I don't think AI is good enough to be solely trusted on underwriting yet, especially bigger loans, but I do agree it seems we're headed that way!

Of course it will.. one example almost every Bank in USA WILL USE CRYPTO CURRENCY. Actually, they using the coins now as we speak. Ask your bank how it works...

I don't think mine is. I've only heard about Bank of America and JP Morgan dabbling in it so far.

Have an acquaintance who is a single mom; she purchased a used car 3 mos ago. Six wks later her 17yo wrecked it, air bags deployed, and estimates have ranged between $10-$18k in needed repairs while $21k is still owed. Acquaintance was switching insurance policies and flubbed the coverage dates and there were a few days where the vehicle was uninsured. No GAP insurance. I'm not seeing many options for her besides to continue pmts, fixing just enough to drive or voluntary repo. Thoughts?
