With 35 years experience, you should be looking at CFO positions

I have 30 years experience in every aspect of Accounting. I have held different titles yet I am not about the title. Just want a secure stable remote environment . Currently making 90k I have 2 full-time contract jobs that are in Financial Failure.

Have you looked into roles like controller or senior accountant? I imagine you're already doing this but networking with former colleagues and possibly even joining accounting groups like AICPA could help connect you with opportunities at your pay level. Feel like nobody is getting hired without knowing someone these days

For an assistant controller position you should be making like 115K btw. Ask for more

I need some insight. Just had a phone interview for a management job in healthcare. I felt comfortable and felt like the interview went well. I ask questions and the ACNO said that I asked great questions. They said that they had other interviews to do as well but said the next step is to bring me in for an on-site interview (I live 1,000 miles away) and that the recruiter would be reaching out. Thoughts? I’m going to drive myself crazy analyzing everything.

Estimated tax payment question:
I converted $30k of rollover 401k into a Roth IRA and have $26k of realized ST Capital Gains this year (Roth conversion in end of Q1 and most capital gains in Q2).
My total federal withholding tax last year was approximately $12k and this year I will have 40% more in reported income on my employer W2 and anticipate higher that $12k federal withholding for my new job. Given this, what is the best way to go about making est. tax payments for the income (continued.)
