You too? Lol and here I was thinking I was a unicorn in this experience! Year after year ive come to realize, people show annoyance cuz they either don't want to hear it, never experienced being on either side of the fence so they can't relate, or they are the ones prejudging, or will never experience it so it puts them in an awkward position, cuz what do you say to that? It's literally a "sounds like a You problem" kinda response. And then on the other side of the spectrum you get those creeps that "never have I ever, fantasy" type that end up being obsessed with your skin, think theyre the first one to nickname you "Beautiful Black Queen" and end up being into weird Diddy type stuff and are 50 years older and still cry about their deceased mother and abusive step father....
Maybe time to take a moral inventory of what you’re putting out there to the world with thoughts and beliefs like what you just said.
Many multi racial couples out there. One can’t blame their race for why they’re single.
And one can blame their race for why they are single, but it's never just the sole issue. There's usually something else. I live in a town where everyone is either racially biased, intolerant, or doesn't speak English. Luckily for me I speak Spanish but they automatically assume i don't because of the color of my skin. I don't get approached much because I'm often mistaken for my son's little sister... And my son is 15. the more seductive I dress the worse it is and I start to look like a rebellious teenaged runaway.
Oops I'm coming from a female perspective. You can forget about all the other stuff
Your experiences may be exclusive only because of your individuality, but I do empathize. I have been the target of fetishes (white men will apparently hit on anything they deem “exotic”). The point is that you aren't seen as a human being by human beings but rather an identity by limited minds.
