I think that’s where most of us would start…
Most cost cuts were based on compensation/could the job be outsourced rather then remote/in office. Remote employees take a hit from the lack of visibility to the new owners.
Second the unfortunate impacts of being remote and being out of sight and out of mind. Whether conscious or not, it does play a part. Remote roles are perceived as easier to get rid of, and last but not least, the shift of wanting to bring everyone into on location results in ‘voluntary’ quitting.
They are going to look at it based on how much you bring in to the firm. Being remote will have no impact . PE just cares about money.
Yes that’s kind of my thought too. In office is a culture building exercise and PE doesn’t care about culture they care about their 5-6 years of profits.
