^ first quote doesn’t have the letter E
It sounds cool, different. Why not switch it up once and a while
Financé...🙄
Because it's eloquent sweaty 💅🎩🎩👠💄😙
I just heard these both in different environments
Fin - - > More "sophisticated" global types of roles
Fine - - > More corporate / personal relationships
Fin-ance implies you’re in the highest tax bracket and don’t need to explain your pronunciation to the unwashed masses
Of course, it's more that even observationally I can't recall someone using it pretentiously
I dont get the pronunciation? As in “feen ance” (fin-ance) vs “fine-ahns” (fine-ance)?
Might be because in romance languages, the i in finance is pronounced as “ee”
Rising Star
Ah-zure or Az-ure?
Rising Star
A3 — if it’s British, then it is spelled “colour”
Guys guys guys...it’s Afghanistanani.
Literally have never heard it said like that before
Yeah a lot of my mba professors and guest speakers on bloomberg do that! Why? Is it a regional thing?
My investigations have led me to believe it’s a regional thing, said only by those that come from the land of try-hard upstarts
My rich father
Also depends on context - I almost always hear leveraged finance pronounced the fancy way
I do love a good ol fresh pair of gamos
I don't say either...I say Fi-Nance...have I been saying it wrong all my life?!
Not at all! Fine-ance is right
You mean afghan -no such thing as Afghanistani language
