I'm currently employed at Wells, been working here for 4+years. I got a new offer and bgv is under progress. Prior to joining Wells i worked in a Startup for over a 2 years. The new company BGV team has asked me for the startup company HR or any employee reference to verify my employment there. But the thing is start up company is no longer operational in India and all the employees i worked with moved to different orgs. I've already submitted relieving letter, payslips, F16.

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

Is 7 weeks too early to start thinking I may have made a huge mistake in switching to my current gig? I left the last place because it was overr toxic and terrible W/L balance, for one that seemed to be more “fun” and more realistic hours, only to find that I’ve now been working 12 -14 hours a day and just drowning and feeling like I cannot catch up or catch my breath. Everyone is in the same boat here which is why I’m so overwhelmed so quickly with no support. Is this an immediate red flag?
