Hahahha hahah. No. We have “diversity and inclusion” training every few years which is mandatory, except for senior management (you know, the people who could actually impact things.) otherwise we have a booklet that’s tells you about PTO and a mentoring program that does not actually exist and a note at your desk with your login.
My company has the phantom “mentoring program” too so funny 🤣
The better question is quality over quantity. Having a training program to check the box doesn’t always move the needle on deeper education
I feel like my company offers training and personal development classes often. However, they’re tough to go to because the amount of works keeps us at our desk.
Hahahaha! I had a job once where they called me out for watching YouTube tutorials on skills I wanted to brush up on during down time

I’ve been at mine for a year and besides onboarding me onto the account I’ve never received any trainings, workshops, or opportunities to learn new skills. Feel like my agency just doesn’t want to invest in its people
Training exists but it is unintentional and self-service. There is no connection to professional development, because processional development does not exist.
Sure. There is plenty of training available via self service tools and a small handful of live classes. But because we don’t have any structure around career planning (you need to do X Y and Z to progress to be a candidate for the next promotion) training is either an afterthought or only accessed to solve a specific problem, which is rare. If we said, “to advance, you need to demonstrate expertise in these 3 areas where you have no skill right now. To help you along your way, we have these 9 online training modules that you can learn from,” you’d see an exponential growth in training consumption .
No, I am not.
