Ageism laid bare. This is the sad reality of the business. Agency leaders who linger into their 60s, who have completely dismissed the value of their contemporaries to keep themselves afloat. Shame on you Mark Read.

I wish there was a “Google Work” like “Google Image” that you could use for researching for work that doesn’t affect the ads you’re served or gets added to the profile companies are building on you.
Just open a new Google account for work only. Never use your personal account at work. Moreover it violates the SOX act. Client assets (information about projects counts) cannot be stored or transferred on personal accounts. Doesn't your I.T. department have an issue with this?
I’m confused, do you guys all share computers? Are you being served those ads just based on your IP address? I thought it was all related to your browser…
No but we have big screens and sit right beside each other. We use google docs, shared google calendar, sheets, etc, so I’m constantly seeing ads for geriatric shoe products (I’m only 45! I had a runners injury! I don’t need to see that!), random Pharma ads that don’t apply to me at all but seem aimed at Older folks, and occasionally my wife’s favorite underwear (which she must have bought while logged into our shared computer at home). I doubt my colleagues notice what ads are on my screen but it still feels very awkward. Good times.
Try having worked on dupuytrine’s contracture. Still getting tons of Peyronie’s disease ad a decade on...
