PwC won't file H1B premium for me. Anything I can do to change their mind?

I’m a non-TX immigration attorney mentoring a UT student who went to my undergrad. He’s done incredibly well in OCI and pre-OCI. Thus far, he’s landed interviews with (all in Houston): Baker Botts, Sidley Austin, Kirkland, Winston Strawn, Reed Smith, Norton Rose, and Locke Lord. Also Perkins Coie in Dallas. He’s leaning transactional, but also open to litigation. Any insights/advice on these firms in the TX market? Any to avoid?

Does anyone know which country’s U.S embassy is open to renew US visa stamp for H1B ? I know Canada closed the borders until May 31. Just wondering what other countries are good options now given the pandemic. Thanks.

I have a question related to working under green card EAD. I got EAD (expiring in 2 years), and plan to change employer. After 2 years, can I renew or apply for the new EAD with the new employer? My I485 is still pending.

Has anyone successfully interfiled from eb3 back to eb2 after a job change to get their i-485 approved and green card processed... this is related to movement of dates in Oct 2020 when many of us from India downgraded from eb2 to eb3 because of eb3 india dates moving faster than eb2 and now eb2 final action dates are becoming current?

How do you guys get your perm experience letters signed? My firm requires some specific experience on the letters. How have you navigated it? Specially with EY/Deloitte?

Hi all, my H1B got approved today and I am waiting on the actual physical notice. In parallel I have a L2 EAD extension request in process. My H1B is valid from oct 1 only. Can I withdraw my L2 tomorrow? Is it okie if I am out of status for nine days? I am worried that the L2 will get approved. If it does get approved, what do I do?

My firm has applied for my L1A visa. If that gets denied, my plan is to travel to Canada and re enter US immediately on B1/B2 visa (already have valid B1/B2 stamp) so that I'll get time to figure out things here in the US (sell my stuff, handle my bank accts etc). Is it possible for me to reenter US on tourist visa?
