I’m so sick of US immigration. This goes on for another year I’ll probably be hitting up the mobility team at my firm lol.
That's what I did. Moved up north - got a promotion and raise to do same work but with respect, this time
You are stuck!
There is a telegram group where they discuss on the availability… you need to be active in the group and definitely you may get dates.
Personally I have done it in the past and was able to get stamping dates, but that was in July of this year. But definitely join the group.

Hahhahah
In the same boat. We are stuck!
I think the appointments are being opened up now. Check regularly. Try other embassies like Hyderabad/Kolkata/Mumbai.
Also have heard of several friends getting appointments through “agents” in India. Might work for you. Sorry about this OP, very frustrating to go through immigration in the US. Hope it gets easier for the hundreds of thousands of us :(
Mexico. I know several folks who got it stamped in Mexico recently.
Yeah, people do Canada as well. But for the first stamping especially, it’s recommended that you get it in your home country. And as with everything else in india, the wait for this is never ending now with covid.
Whole of 2022? That can't be right - maybe they haven't opened up for the later months. I know someone who recently found a mid Mar slot in Delhi. Another friend told me a few days back that he could see appointments in March.
It's a pain, so good luck OP! It is frustrating to say the least. As others suggested, try agents who can get slots for you
