Quick reminder to check your caffeine intake. A regular cup of coffee is ~90–100 mg. Some energy drinks quietly hit 200+ mg. I realized my “afternoon slump” was actually caffeine overload. I’ve been trying tea or lower-caffeine options like Red Bull (~80 mg) instead. Anyone else switching things up to stay focused at work?

First year associate thinking about making the just from medium sized reputable IP firm to In House. Started at said firm summer of 1L year as a law clerk/patent agent in May 2019, have worked through school and full time as associate since Sept 2021. Feeling very “stuck” in day to day work. Love the patent/IP space but drafting and pros w/minimal human interaction is getting very difficult. Thinking In House would be better, but not sure how much experience needed. Thoughts?

I have an offer to do some consulting for a company based out of the UK (I am in the US). The job would not go through a consulting company but would be directly with the company.
